Who is behind this
From Stuttgart. For bitcoiners.
BitMiner24 started small, out of frustration that every solo miner came from China with no guide, no support and counterfeit firmware.
Today every device leaves our warehouse in Stuttgart preconfigured. When you have a question you are not writing into the void, you are writing to us, and you get an answer within hours.
Somewhere in the global solo mining network a block is found every 2 to 3 weeks, worth more than 175,000 €, all of it to a single miner. With your device you are a real part of that network, around the clock. If it finds a block, the reward is yours alone: no shares, no pool, straight to your wallet.
Common questions
What happens if my device finds a block?
The block reward of 3.125 BTC plus transaction fees is paid straight to the bitcoin address you entered during setup. The public solo pool takes no cut of the solo reward.
After 6 confirmations (about an hour) the coins are final in your wallet. Verifiable live on mempool.space.
How likely is a block find?
Statistically small, but real. Solo mining pools worldwide (Solo CK, Public Pool, Braiins Solo) together find a block every 2 to 3 weeks. For your single device that means no guaranteed find, but every second counts towards it.
Verifiable live on mempool.space.
What does the electricity cost?
The Nerdminer V2 draws less than 1 watt, which is a few euros a year. The NerdNOS needs about 8 watts, so roughly 22 € a year at German electricity prices.
You can leave both running around the clock without a second thought.
How do I set the device up?
In three steps: 1. Plug it in. 2. Join the device's Wi-Fi hotspot from your phone or laptop. 3. Enter your bitcoin address and your home Wi-Fi, done.
It takes about 3 minutes. A printed guide is included. If you have questions, our support usually answers within a few hours.
Do I have to pay tax on a block find?
Yes. For private hobby mining in Germany (1 or 2 devices at home), block finds count as other income under § 22 no. 3 EStG (German income tax act) per the BMF letters of 10 May 2022 and 6 March 2025, taxable at their euro market value when received, with a 256 € exemption threshold per year.
If you then hold the BTC for at least one year, the later sale is tax free under § 23 EStG. This is not tax advice. If you actually find a block, talk to a tax adviser.
Will this make me rich?
Honest answer: probably not. Solo mining is a matter of probability. What you do get for certain: you genuinely take part in the bitcoin network, your device works alongside it 24/7, and if it finds a block, 3.125 BTC ≈ 190,000+ € are yours, straight to your wallet.
What you do not get: ongoing pool shares, guaranteed profit, quick money. What makes it worth starting: the experience and the real chance.
Set it up, mine, understand it. Your guide.
